Every year SlavCon offers a great amount of both entertaining and educational talks. You can also play board games, join unusual workshops or have a break and relax with the accompanying program. To achieve such a wide selection, a good festival cannot exist without a helping hand. Or a foot. Or a smile. Every small step, even that which seems obvious or oblivious, is made by someone specific - whether an organizer or a volunteer.
Volunteers! These are a separate and indispensable chapter of the festival! It is possible that you won't even properly notice them. They are common visitors of the festival, they enjoy the program, so that later they can come on duty; to sell tickets, to guard your belongings in the garderobe, or to help out with games in iHrysko. Many arrive already before the start of the festival and decorate the premises, arrange furniture and prepare materials for visitors.
Whether they are helping out only for one year or are always there, they are an indispensible part of SlavCon. They are enthusiasts, energetic beings and wonderful people. Without our volunteers, SlavCon would not be what it is. THANK YOU.
